Arguably the best GTV of them all was the GTV6 of the 1980's, which had marvellous performance, and the various suspension changes and the limited slip differential made it handle superbly well. The honour of the quickest GTV goes to the GTV6 with the three-litre engine, which was produced only for the South African market, and in fact only 200 cars were homologated for race purposes.
This particular example, which has returned from that country, is described as being in superb restored condition throughout and it does have the option of air conditioning and compomotive split rims. There were only ten produced in gunmetal grey, the rest of the 200 were produced in red and white and therefore this is one of the rarest cars of all. It has never been raced and has the aforementioned factory fitted extras and a reference from the garage in South Africa, which has maintained the car for over a decade.
This has to be one of the most desirable Alfa's in the world and in superb rust free condition. With 225 bhp it is an opportunity not one to be missed.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
