  • H&H Classics to host two classic car auctions at the UTAC Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire in 2025
  • Auction venue switches from Imperial War Museum, Duxford to facilitate redevelopment works at the former RAF base
  • New venue offers a host of additional benefits for both buyers and sellers
  • Site has a rich motoring heritage stretching back to the 1960s

H&H Classics will be switching location for two of its classic, collector and performance car sales in 2025 to a brand-new auction venue, steeped in automotive history.

The UTAC Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire, a facility very familiar to numerous motor manufacturers and film crews, will play host to selected H&H sales beginning with its 25th June auction.

The relocation from H&H’s traditional Cambridgeshire venue will allow the Imperial War Museum to make further investment into and development of its Duxford site ahead of H&H’s eventual return.

Speaking about the new venue, Colette McKay, managing director at H&H Classics, said: “Millbrook is synonymous with the automotive industry having been used for decades by many vehicle manufacturers as part of their development programmes, and has even been used in some iconic motoring moments in cinematic history.

“With great access and a host of other exciting features, we are confident that the new venue will be warmly received by both buyers and sellers alike, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to our first sale there in June.”

Confirmed early entries into the first of H&H’s sales at Millbrook include a desirable right-hand drive 1960 Mercedes-Benz 190SL, a stunning 1957 Bentley S1 Continental Fastback, a nicely restored 1971 Aston Martin DBS V8 and a unique 19,000 mile from new 1974 Jaguar E-Type V12 Roadster.

Kirsty Andrews, Vice President – UK – UTAC, added: “We are delighted to have H&H Classics join us at UTAC Millbrook as our partner for classic vehicle sales.

“It’s an obvious extension of the type of event we are involved in, allowing new visitors to our site, to enjoy our facilities and experience our prestigious venue. I know H&H will host fantastic sales here for what we hope will be a long-term agreement.”
