I had two motorcycles to sell and had never sold a bike this way before so I was unsure at first and dithered in my decision but Ian was patient and not at all pushy. His valuations were bang on and H&H marketed them very well, with both bikes exceeding my reserve, so I am very pleased. I chose to deliver the bikes to the venue myself and the H&H staff on site were very helpful, making it an enjoyable day. I wasn't able to make it to the venue on auction day but again, Ian's estimate of when they would be under the hammer was spot on so I managed to witness both sales online as it happened.

It was taking a while to sell my 21 year-old Aston DB9 privately. Then out of the blue Baljit from HandH called, said he thought my car was a little gem. Knowing nothing about auctions, and car salesmen have a good line in snappy patter, I was initially a bit cautious, but I thought 'Well, it's a new experience and they're the top auctioneer for performance cars, so why not give it a try?' Having no experience of motorcycles at all it was extremely difficult to know where to start to be able to sell an old motorcycle from the 50’s. Never sold a car at auction before but a friend suggested H&H to sell my Audi RS4 B5. I filled in the on-line form and soon had a call from Baljit Atwal. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and talked me through the whole process. After submitting some pictures of the car Baljit arranged a visit to properly photograph the car and learn about it's use and history. After the car went on the web site a potential buyer phoned Baljit, he was able to tell him all about the car and the buyer offered the top of the expected price range which I accepted. Despite the ‘difficult market’ Lucas was great to deal with - straight talking backed up by an obvious passion and deep knowledge of classic motor vehicles.Lucas is also a really nice guy and a very good representative of H&H. If and when the opportunity to buy or sell with H&H presents itself again I would not hesitate to ask to deal with Lucas.

We asked for help in valuing for sale and then removing three classic cars in barn find condition at a set of garages being refurbished. Access was difficult and the cars had not moved in about 20 years. Lucas Gomershall came to our rescue, valued the cars, arranged their retrieval and removal from site and eventual successful sale. He rose to the challenge, found ways to get them safely onto a transporter and then arranged to auction them. We could not have wanted for greater expertise, and expert advice, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
