Introduced onto an expectant market in 1968, the 4.2 first series XJ6 was Sir William Lyons long running masterpiece which carried on in production in S3 form well into the late 1980's.
This 1985 example was supplied new to Karlton Supplies of Tettenhall, then part exchanged to Paramount Jaguar in Derby who then sold the car onto the current family where it has been since 1988. It comes with a full service history up to 46000 miles, which is mostly Jaguar, and the present mileage of 50000 can be certified from new. It still retains its original handbook, lubrication charts, PDI sheet and service books that were supplied new with the car and it is currently tested until October this year.
This is a lovely example of the XJ6 saloon which we are informed drives very well indeed.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
