One of the superbikes of it's day the Thruxton Velon was, along with the B,S,A, Gold Star the ultimate in high performance 500 c.c. singles.
Small original production numbers and the use of many parts that were standard to the Velocette range means that it has always been practical to build replicas.
This machine has been the subject of a complete and thorough restoration, fitted with a twin leading shoe front brake to aid stopping.
It is absolutely superb.
