The Maserati Kyalami was introduced following the takeover by De Tomaso and perhaps the biggest difference to its predecessor was the larger 4.2 litre four-camshaft V8 Maserati engine, which produced 260 bhp. That unit was replaced in 1978 by the more powerful 4.9 litre engine which could be coupled to either the much-preferred 5-speed manual gearbox or the automatic transmission and they are extremely rare as only 198 examples were made.
We are pleased to offer today this very nice and highly original example which is in lovely condition throughout but which has an interior which is simply exceptional. The vendor informs us that the car was serviced three years ago and no major faults were found and we are led to believe that even the air conditioning works.
Sitting in a rare vehicle with the famous trident logo must be the ultimate dream of many and although this car is at present still Italian registered it may have its UK V5 registration document by the time of the sale.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
You can collect your new pride and joy from our venue until 1pm the day following the sale or our partners are on hand to help arrange safe transportation:
