Lot details Registration No: CSJ 822 Chassis No: E1X44081 Mot Expiry: 6.6.2001
Vauxhall Wyvern was introduced in 1948 and it was the first new model from Vauxhall after The War and shared the same body shell as Velox. It was produced from between 1952 and 1957, and had the 1507cc overhead valve engine, when they were retired in favour of the new, almost startlingly modern, Victor model.
These cars are now extremely rare and this very original example is finished in dark green with a dark green interior. The chrome is in very good condition with very little rust, it has been repainted in the last few years and comes with all the correct trim and carpets. It was owned by a friend of John's for many years from whom he bought it and then put it away and indeed almost forgot all about it, but he informs us it starts and runs extremely well and is very sound and solid with new sills fitted recently.
It is currently tested and taxed and ready to drive away and the recorded mileage of 82,000 is believed to be correct from new.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
