Following its purchase by the vendor from a well-known family of Lancia enthusiasts via renowned specialists Omicron this righthand drive UK market Series 1 car was treated to a thorough restoration in the early 2000s. The body being stripped, prepared and painted by Glen Gibbs before delivery to Omicron, who carried out the mechanical work prior to refitting the coachwork. Assorted bills on file provide testimony to the quality of work carried out and the not insignificant cost involved. In 2006 the car featured on the Lancia Motor Club stand at the NEC celebrating 100 Years of Lancia having previously been awarded 'best restoration' prize by the club. Sensible modifications include 12 volt electrics, electric fuel pump and subtly fitted indicators and brake lights.
Finished in cream with tan cloth interior this delightful example of Lancia's innovative saloon is offered with RF60 Continuation Logbook, a file of restoration photographs, assorted bills, Swansea V5 and MoT to June 2013.
