MPH Models - A complete set. 48 Superbly detailed limited edition 1:43 scale models each of Le Mans cars 1938-1965. All bodies resin moulded for crispness & delicacy of detail. Small parts etched in stainless steel and lovingly asembled by Tim Dyke. Each model has been meticulously researched, both in real life and as a model. Each comes with a specification sheet outlining up to 180 alterations Tim has made to the model, together with the original car's race history and is complete with its box, protective wrapping and certificate. There are 48 Le Mans cars plus one road Aston Martin DB5. Tim began MPH Models in 1987 and has made just a few each year since. The first 15 were limited to 20 off and then increased to 25 (and strictly adhered to). There are only 2 other complete sets, but this one is unique in that all models are numbered the same - 4/20 or 4/25. The set includes 9 Jaguars, 9 Astons, 7 Ferrari, 3 Alfas, 2 Maserati, 2 Mercedes, 2 Lotus, 2 Cunninghams, 2 Bristols, 2 AC's, 2 Porsche, 1 Grifo, 1 Lola GT, 1 Elva, 1 Talbot Lago, 1 Bentley, 1 Rover BRM and 1 DB Panhard.
