Launched to the UK market in 2001, the Doblo range has since earned a reputation for ruggedness and practicality combined with frugal running costs. With the arrival of the turbocharged 100bhp 1.9-litre JTD engine that same year, it also provides respectable performance when compared to similar products from rival manufacturers. Despite being an unusual sight on UK roads, the Doblo's international appeal has led to a variety of model variations being produced on the steel chassis Cargo van platform including a twin-berth camper as offered here.

Displaying a low recorded mileage of c.45,500 miles, this high roof example was purchased early last year for some £9950 and used initially as temporary accommodation following a house fire. Powered by the more desirable 1.9 JTD engine coupled with manual transmission, an expensive sat nav system has also been installed and the vehicle benefits from roof-mounted solar panels in addition to the usual interior camper features.
