By the late 1950's the big 500cc 'thumpers' had been eclipsed in trials by small lightweight low capacity machines. Triumph were easily able to adapt their Tiger Cub into a successful machine, both for the works team and for the many privateers wanting them, as the basic machine had all the right attributes.
This example has been the subject of a most meticulous restoration and it is fitted with a genuine TR20 trials engine, Boyer electronics, a trials gearbox, new rims and tyres, a powder coated frame and forks and we are told everything has been sorted.
Far too good to get dirty.
