Offering a similar look and feel to the high-performance XJR variant but with better fuel economy, just 1,108 examples of the XJ Sport (X308-series) are thought to have been made. Powered by a normally aspirated 3.2-litre AJ-V8 engine (240bhp / 233lbft) allied to five-speed automatic transmission, the limited edition model was reputedly capable of 0-60mph in 8.1 seconds and 140mph. Benefiting from stiffer suspension, sportier seating / interior trim combinations and wider / larger wheels than a standard XJ8, the XJ Sport also featured matt-black exterior window trims and a body-coloured radiator grille surround.
Finished in the rare combination of Seafrost Green Metallic with Ivory leather upholstery `AD51 VYU' currently shows some 65,000 miles to its odometer. Equipped with automatic climate control, electric windows, central locking, electrically adjustable front seats and rear parking sensors etc, the luxury saloon also comes with an electric sliding sunroof.
