Buick entered the post-war period of the early twenties in a firm fourth position in the sales league behind Ford, Dodge and Chevrolet but radical changes were afoot which resulted in each Buick having front wheel brakes as standard and a detachable cylinder head. They were still dearer than their man competitors and the cheapest six cylinder started at $1565.
This lovely Master Six could possibly have started life as a saloon with a new tourer body being fitted probably for the Australian market and is a rare right hand drive example. It has been part of a large working private collection for many years and it has completed some film and wedding work in that time and has the much better 3500cc six cylinder engine and the manual gearbox.
It is a lovely big four door tourer which will carry the family around with much grace and style.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
