The Ford Mustang was the most successful muscle car ever produced and the concept produced by David Ash, Joe Oros and Gayle Halderman at Ford's design studios prompted many imitators. They were all characterised as 'Ponycars' in its honour.
This stunning all-white 1965 example, it even has a white hood and white wall tyres, has the convertible bodywork, the disc brakes, a hood bag and Pony mats. The 5300cc eight cylinder engine simply purrs waiting for the accelerator to be depressed and the driving experience is enhanced by the manual transmission with the Hurst shifter.
It was fully restored in 1994 and is still in exceptional condition throughout having only covered a mere 6341 miles since the restoration.
This is one of the very best examples you will find anywhere of this highly desirable car.r
