On an official Italian telegram form, bearing a hand-written Italian language message in ink to Langlois, President Commissionaire Sportive, Francorchamps, an approximate translation reading: 'Sorry to have to pull out of the Grand Prix for the reasons known to you. I wish you every success with the event. Please convey my congratulations to the winner. Best wishes, Nuvolari'. Framed, glazed & approximately 18x25cm. Although undated, this telegram is believed c1937, as the Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps that year was to take place on the 11th of July; just six days after Nuvolari was entered for the Vanderbilt Cup race on Long Island, New York.
