The Honda Prelude was launched in 1978 and was in production for three years until 1981. It offered a top speed of up to 100mph but less passenger space and at a higher cost than previous models and was only a partial success and was replaced by a startingly attractive second generation model in 1982.
This particular example, which dates from 1982, is not something we would normally offer for sale, but felt that this particular example was well justified. The car has been entered from a lady in Derby who has had the vehicle from brand new and during that time it has covered a genuine 92,000 miles. It has been described as being in fabulous condition throughout and naturally comes with the 1600cc four cylinder engine and the much more easier to use three speed automatic transmission. It is currently MOT'd and taxed and also benefits from being sold with the cherished registration JGT868.
We feel today that you will be hard pushed to find another example as good as this one on offer today and it is sold with its cherished registration number JGT 868.
