A Large and very striking double-sided enamel advertising sign for Mobiloil 'Gargoyle' products. The sign features a cut-out depiction of an ERA (English Racing Automobiles) single-seater grand prix racing car to the top edge. The text below reads 'Mobiloil - Suitable for ALL Race Engines'. Offered in very good condition, save for light nibbling and rusting to the flange and edges. One of less than a handful of signs to feature a racing car pictorial. 24x16 inches, with mounting flange and small strengthening ridge to lower edge.
