The Hudson Hornet was produced between 1948 and 1954 and was indeed the top of their model range. This 1954 example is a series 7D four door sedan and comes with the 4.3cc six-cylinder engine developing 140 bhp and the four-speed hydromatic automatic transmission. It is worth noting that these were very successful, especially in racing and dominated the Nascar and AAA racing throughout the early nineteen fifties.
This particular example has a very high specification with a long list of optional extras and was imported from California via Germany in 1995 and first registered in the UK in June of that year. It is described as being in good sound condition throughout and is believed to be only one of four examples of its kind in this country.
The history file contains various bills, old MOT's and receipts etc and it also comes complete with the V5 document confirming the registration number LFO227.
