BSA joined the cycle motor market in 1953 when they introduced the Winged Wheel. It featured a two stroke, horizontal single cylinder engine housed within the rear wheel, the whole assembly replacing the existing rear bicycle wheel. It was quickly joined by a complete machine using a reinforced cycle frame.
This example, registered TTD 971 is offered in need of restoration with the frame, forks, mudguards, chainguard and rear wheel/power unit present. It is accompanied by a Swansea V5C.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
