Pre-war Lodge Racing Spark Plugs carrying-case c1930s, ex-Gillie Tyrer; painted French-racing blue with enamelled “Lodge” badge applied to hinged-lid, with chrome-plated fittings and locks, inscribed in white paint G. Tyrer Liverpool, fitted interior containing rows of racing and normal spark-plugs of various types used by the well-known sporting garagiste during his extensive & successful career from the 1930s-1960s, with MGs, Bugatti GP Type 51, BMW 328 & Mille Miglia types, Jaguar and many others.
