No vintage or classic sale is complete without at least one Austin 7 in its line up and if you could only have one in the sale, an Ulster, supercharged or not, would be the one to have.
This particular example, with the normal open two seater bodywork and cycle wings, is an unsupercharged car first registered in 1932. The present private owner from the south of England suggests that the ownership is traceable up to and including 1962 and as far as he can tell the car is a standard example apart from the Scintilla NV4 magneto and SU DD carburettors. It still has the original ignition systems and it is described as being in very good condition throughout having been rewired quite recently.
It naturally has the manual three speed gearbox and the 747cc four cylinder engine and should receive a lot of attention at today's sale.
Please note: We have had confirmation from an 'Ulster' consultant that this car is indeed an original Ulster but it was rebodied approximately 27 years ago. His name can be supplied to the successful bidder.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
