Lot details Registration No: JFO 699 Chassis No: 56605 Mot Expiry: None
This extremely rare 1933 Berliet four door saloon has been entered from Northern Ireland for today's sale and it is a large 1930's French saloon with the two litre engine and four speed gearbox. Being a right hand drive configured example it is even rarer and we believe it to be a type 944 which was introduced in 1933 with the overhead valve engine and was in fact the last model to be produced.
It is described as being in good condition with the bodywork being very tidy but the owner has informed us that the original leatherette interior lets it down a little however some love and attention to rectify this will make it a great car to use this summer or for attending classic rallies.
It is a big car for very little money and the new owner will receive a lot of interest as there will undoubtedly not be another example from this manufacturer wherever he goes.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
You can collect your new pride and joy from our venue until 1pm the day following the sale or our partners are on hand to help arrange safe transportation:
