Handmade by Robert Jankel's Panther Westwinds of Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, just before the renamed Panther Car Company relocated to Weybridge in 1980, this wire-wheel shod Lima Mk2 has had three owners, the vendor acquiring the righthand drive 2-seater in October 2001. Indeed, a plaque inside indicates that this was the very last of this 1930s styled model to be produced at the original Panther works on 1 October 1980 for a Mr R A Bellinger. The current owner says that is not aware of any accident damage.

Among the documents, along with the current MOT which will not require renewing until November, is an original and mint handbook as well as other interesting marque and model related literature including a selection of Panther Car Club magazines.

The chassis, based on a beefed up Vauxhall Magnum floorpan, is reportedly in good order, though black painted open bodywork in GRP and black interior are said to need a little work. Vauxhall 4-cylinder overhead camshaft engine of 2279cc capacity, 4-speed manual gearbox and electrical equipment are said to be OK.
