Lot details Registration No: NFF 906 Chassis No: CALV180676 Mot Expiry: None
The Ultra-Brake Mini Bus was a conversion to the standard Bedford CA Van which was carried out by Martin Walter Ltd of Folkestone in the early 1960's. It has the 1600cc four cylinder petrol engine and the manual transmission and they were one of the first mini-buses to be built in any numbers but even so they are becoming a rare sight on today's roads.
This particular example has been in Mr Bayman's collection for the last four years and has proved to be extremely reliable when in use, but unfortunately it has not been used this year. The bodywork could do with a small amount of cosmetic attention or minor restoration but is of a nature that could be easily carried out by a non-professional or the person buying it to use as a useful and classic family vehicle.
It is presently not tested, as the current one expired in January last year, but it does come with its current V5 registration document, which confirms the cherished registration of NFF 906.
Please note: The name we gave this Minibus was incorrect and it is a Utilabrake and not a Ultra-brake as described.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
