When everyone yearned for transport after being deprived during the war, the answer seemed to be the scooter when peace returned in 1918. The A.B.C. was the most popular of several attempts to provide an inexpensive means of transport and it was yet another design from the fertile brain of Granville Bradshaw.
This machine was bought by the present owner at auction in 1976. It was his intention to restore it but it has not been touched and unfortunately it will not now be restored by him as it is being offered today under a 'power of attorney'.
We sincerely hope that the new owner will have more time.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
