This is a much modified and finely rebuilt built 1:8th scale 1924 Le Mans Bugatti Type 35 racing car. The model was built in 1992 and includes over 700 brass, silver, steel, leather, aluminium and rubber parts set into a nicely scaled brass body which has been finished off in the classic triple coat French blue livery. Note the unbelievable amount of detailing to include working steering and a fully operable sprung suspension. The model comes with hand cut and stitched leather seats and has a cockpit interior complete with snail bevelled aluminium fascias, as in the original car, moving gear stick and hand brake, 'glazed' dials and much more. The model comes with a collapsible drivers side stone deflector, authentically wired body, hinged engine cowling, a fully detailed engine complete with wiring set up and even a rebuilt hand made radiator grill. Only 25 models were built.
