Lot details Registration No: C529KGH Chassis No: 5CD2001356C000442 Mot Expiry: July 2003
Reliant paid the rent by building lightweight GRP bodied three-wheelers but began producing cars in the 1960's. Except for the Rebels and Kittens, which were simply grown up three wheelers, all 1970's Reliants were Scimitars, in one shape or another.
The Scimitar GTC has always had a significant following and is a great summer car and this 1986 example has been described by the present owner as being in excellent condition throughout. As it was bought by his employers, Ferranti, as a company car for him and given to him as a retirement present it has had two registered owners from new but in fact only really one and certainly only one driver. It takes unleaded fuel and presently has a current MOT certificate until July 2003 and tax until March 2003.
We are informed that this excellent example was the last GTC built by Reliant and is ready for the new lucky owner to drive away from today's sale.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
