Lot details Registration No: OTU 780 Chassis No: RMA42520342 Mot Expiry: April 2002
This privately entered Riley 1.5 litre saloon eminates from the Lancashire area and these later vehicles were fitted with the Riley twin overhead camshaft engine connected to the four-speed manual gearbox and this combination gave them a very good and lively performance in the 1950's.
Although not in concours condition it presents itself very well having undergone a cosmetic restoration some two to three years ago and the interior trim is finished in red leather and appears to be original with the exception of the rear seat, which has obviously been recovered at some stage.
These cars are becoming harder to find these days and this particular one appears to have retained its original registration number.
Please note that the year of manufacture is 1952.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
