This Daimler Double Six, a righthand drive 4-door saloon, first left Jaguar's Coventry works in 1985. The vendor acquired the luxury motor car from quality British classics specialists Hurst Park at the 1998 NEC Classic Car Show, since when, he says, it has only been used for sunny day driving. He also tells us that it has had lots of money spent on it, there being bills on file detailing work done.
Current condition of black painted bodywork and beige interior is said to be good. Both 5.3-litre 12-cylinder motor and 3-speed auto-box are also reportedly in very good order, while the 96,250 mileage displayed when entered for the sale is believed by the owner to be the genuine total from new.
