We have here a rare and desirable Glas Goggomobil microcar which is an early example, from 1956, and has the 350cc two stroke engine fitted. This two door saloon is in fair condition and is a recent import from new Zealand and as yet not registered in the UK.
It is original in every respect but we are informed that the cable needs adjustment for top gear and we have not heard this car running since it arrived at the sale.
Please note: We have noticed that the ducting for the airflow to keep the engine cool is missing and the fan assembly is not fitted and is in the passenger footwell. The car therefore is sold as being incomplete and for restoration.
