Lot details Registration No: Un-Reg Chassis No: 607513 Mot Expiry: None
Mathis fielded a very large range of models for 1930 and eight models were listed in 1931 although many were revamps of earlier models. The factory had gone to the American Continental Motor Corporation for the design of a new short stroke four but and although the PY was regarded as a 7hp in France, this Strasbourg built quality saloon was taxed as a 13hp in Britain.
This delightful four door saloon is thought not to have been registered since its importation to the UK in 1990 but it is in the right hand drive configuration and extremely presentable condition with period fittings and a surprisingly luxurious interior.
It lacks a spare wheel and starting handle but is thought only to need careful recommissioning before use and it comes to the sale with its Certified D'Immatriculation and Customs & Excise documentation which should facilitate a very easy registration for the new owner.
Please note: This vehicle is a none runner.
