One previous owner example - purchased new by MG Car Club member Gordon Wilson in July 1971 and acquired by present owner – a family friend of Mr Wilson, in 1979. Largely maintained by Shiplake Motors of Henley on Thames until 2003 and then to date by JRS motors of Reading, with supportive documentation from 1988 to date (including a £9,500 bodywork restoration in 1991). The MG has been the much loved everyday transport of the present owner until 2003 and in occasional use since and always garaged - sadly the owners advancing years has prompted the sale.

Paperwork file includes numerous receipts (including bodywork restoration,) old MOTs, owners handbook etc. Reported to be in good running order and basically sound, the MG is fitted with an overdrive gearbox, stainless exhaust system, recent replacement front springs and an MOT to May 2023, though to cover herself, the vendor states that ‘NRD’ would benefit from a good clean up, check over and service. An excellent opportunity to acquire a ‘ready to go' B GT with a lovely history and the potential to benefit from light restoration.
