The Morris Oxford's name survived until 1971 and in its various forms some 60,673 examples were manufactured. It gained a new in 1954 together with the 1489cc ohv 'B' series engine and in 1959 became part of the Farina style range, which included the Austin Cambridge, M.G. Magnette, Riley 14/68 and Wolseley 15/60.
This particular example dates from 1958 and has been described as being in good overall condition due to being dry stored for many years and represents a fine example of the popular Oxford. The history file contains a quantity of manufacturer's literature, original manuals and handbooks and the recorded mileage of 15,355 is quite possibly correct from new.
The vehicle still remains in good order mechanically, which makes it a very good and usable car to enjoy on a regular basis.
