This 1950 example of the much loved M.G. TD was purchased by its previous owner in 1988 and was then subjected to a complete restoration, which took two years, and covered the mechanical aspects of the car, the ash frame and of course the body and all running gear. It was then regularly used by him and six years ago he fitted a new head to allow the car to run on unleaded fuel and in 1995 an M.G.A. differential was fitted.
We offered it two years ago and sold it to the present owner who has enjoyed it immensely and we are informed that the car drives very well indeed and certainly there are no problems with the unleaded fuel supply. It is finished in arguably the best colour for the car and is still in excellent condition and comes with a full hood, all the weather gear and has been re-upholstered in quality red leather.
This is a lovely example which has only been used in the summer months and in 1992 it successfully completed the French tour with no mishaps at all.
