Mercedes Benz have, since time immemorial, made some of the most desirable models the industry could offer and one would have to say that the SL roadster fit very well into that bracket and even more amazingly they are still going strong today.
This is a 350SL roadster that dates from 1978 and has been described as being in excellent condition throughout having just received a full body restoration and at the same time been fully re-trimmed in blue leather. It also benefits from having the latest specification alloy wheels, a hard top, the 3499cc engine and the more desirable three speed automatic transmission and the history file contains the V5 registration document which shows four previous keepers from new.
This is an outstanding example of this highly desirable car and should turn lots of heads at today's sale. The thing is it will continue to do so each and every time the new owner takes it out of the garage.
