The Rochdale Olympic MK1 coupe was in production for seven years and were a very advanced glass-fibre monocoque with excellent aerodynamics and came the BMC 1500cc or the 100E Anglia engine options of which the latter is fitted in this example.
This car was restored some years ago and at that time the body was removed and we have been informed by the vendor that photographs are available covering this work. When we inspected the car the body was showing some crazing but seemed in generally good order and under the bonnet the twin S.U. engine was clean and tidy.
This represents are rare opportunity to acquire a genuine classic.
Please note: This car was incorrectly described as an Olympic in the catalogue - it is simply a GT Rochdale. Also it has the E93A 8hp Ford engine and not the 100e engine as described.
Please note: We have not heard this car running as the fuel pump is not working and also please note that this car was entered with the intention of receiving a full and new MOT - it hasn't and therefore is sold without a current MOT.
