Mercedes-Benz was formed in 1926 and many other motor manufacturers have held it in awe. It created in the post war years an amazing array of wonderful sports and saloon cars and this continues unabated today.
They have always been particularly strong in producing two door coupes and this was the case in 1965 when this 220 SEB Coupe was produced. The paintwork on this particular example needs some attention but the bodywork is very solid and it has been dry stored for some time. It has very little use recently and this is the only reason for its sale.
It has had a new stainless steel exhaust fitted and is currently tested and taxed and ready to drive away form today's sale and it comes with the much preferred the automatic gearbox and the optional wire wheels.
