Lot details Registration No: BLV 97A Chassis No: 1532061 Mot Expiry: 21.5.2001.
This former aircraft company started the production of engines and scooters after World War 2 and in 1955 presented a rear-engine bubble car with two front and one rear wheel. The engine was a single-cylinder, four-stroke air cooled unit of 175cc which was later increased to 198cc when it was also made available with twin rear wheels. In 1958 the design was sold to Dundalk Engineering in Ireland and later of course built in England by Trojan.
This particular example, with the larger engine, is described as being in excellent condition throughout having been fully restored within the last twelve months. It's mileage of 27,000 miles is believed to be genuine from new and, of course, it comes with a sunroof, various photographs of the restoration and we are informed by the owner that it drives very well indeed.
It has been re-registered at some stage as the original number has been removed, but, it comes with a current V5 registration document and will provide lots of fun for the new owner.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
