The Spider was launched in 1970 and sold in England until 1978 and, although they are still made today mainly for the American market, they can be imported into Britain if required and they of course still have that wonderful Pininfarina body design.
This car, which is privately entered by what is believed to be only the fourth owner from new, had a complete body rebuild in 1991 and the photographs for this are available in the history file. It has been with its present owner for the last five years and he believes that the 67,000 miles covered to be guaranteed from new and describes the car as being in good condition throughout.
These rare and highly desirable cars were good for 118 mph top speed and are still great fun to own and drive.
