The Corniche was introduced in March 1971 based on the Rolls-Royce Shadow and using the same floor plan. They were highly desirable in the two door coupe format but the convertibles were very expensive, they still are, and bought by the cream of society.
This 1974 convertible was purchased some seven years ago from Bauer Millet of Manchester by the previous owner when he was assured that the mileage was correct at just under 50000 miles. In the last two years of his five year ownership it resided at his holiday home in Malaga where it covered just a few hundred miles and we sold it two years ago with a recorded mileage of 50,599 miles. It has now completed 52000 miles and this is believed to be correct from new.
It has had much work completed recently and is described as being in very good condition and it has a good history as well as the original handbook. Good examples of these highly desirable models are hard to find and we are sure this will prove to be a very good buy for some lucky person today.
