Being sold on behalf Motorsport Safety Fund this limited edition print is one of only 25 taken from an original artwork commissioned from Michael Turner by Castrol for the cover of a menu for a celebration lunch held on the return of the victorious BMC team from 1964 Monte Carlo Rally. Illustrating Paddy Hopkirk and Henry Liddon in the Mini Cooper, BMC Competitions Manager Stuart Turner was presented with the original painting and Stuart has authorised a strictly limited edition of 25 prints signed by both Paddy Hopkirk and Michael Turner. This is the last remaining print available, the other 24 having been sold within 2 hours of the opening of the 2007 Autosport Show. The Motorsport Safety Fund is a registered charity which helps motor sport by producing films and publications giving help and training for marshalling, first aid, fire fighting etc and H&H are very pleased to be able to help this worthwhile cause by auctioning this print today.
