Mercedes Benz have produced some of the greatest models that this industry has ever seen and one would have to say that the SL roadster, with any of its vast array of engine sizes and specifications, is one of them. It has now been gong longer than I care to think and the new model has again just taken the world by storm.
The 450 SL is an original car that has been in the same family ownership since 1975 and the mileage of 48,000 is warranted and supported with detailed Mercedes Benz history's and the original handbook and wallet is also supplied with the car. The front wings were replaced and the car was resprayed some 15 years ago and it is described as being in excellent condition for its year and has both the hard and the soft tops.
For two years in storage it has recently been re-commissioned and is being sold today by the son of the previous owner. This is a thoroughly genuine car, which if cared for properly should give many further years of exceptional service.
