Morris first introduced the Cowley model in 1915 and the name was still indeed being used in the mid 1930's. However the term Bullnose was used only for that specific period when the cars had the wonderfully shaped radiator as shown above.
The lovely example we have on offer for you today was owned by a Mr Peter Waterhouse, who had a large collection of cars in the 1970's and 1980's and bought by the present owner in 1988. During the present ownership it has successfully completed many classic runs and has had general maintenance completed on it including the fitment of a brand new radiator core and he describes it as being in excellent condition throughout. The entire dashboard and other fittings seem to be correct in nickel and to the rear is the occasional dickey seat and after just two or three turns of the starter motor the engine springs into life and sounds simply delightful.
This car featured in the television series 'Shades of Darkness' and has won various outings and one of the cups is available with the car as is a video of its exploits.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
