The Austin Heavy 12/4 came with two-seater, tourer and saloon, albeit in various guises, coachwork and the 1861cc four-cylinder side valve engine. It shared the chassis and body with the Sixteen but had wire wheels and wing mounted side lamps and the syncromesh gearbox from 1934.
The lovely example we have on offer for you today is described as being in good original condition throughout and has elegant two tone coachwork with a matching leather interior. We are informed it drives very well indeed with the 12hp engine performing well and it is currently tested until February next year.
These cars are always much admired and coveted and we are sure that this particular example will be keenly contested at today's sale.
