'Weeping in the Wind' Accessory Mascot by Poitvin

A magnificent stylized `Weeping Lady' accessory mascot, designed by G. Poitvin for Finnigans Motor Accessories, London. Hollow cast solid nickel construction, it features a lady covering her face with her hands, with her coat blown above her head, due to strong winds. Believed c1920's period & superbly detailed, it sports various markings, including `Finnigans - London' and `Made in France', together with the signature of the artist `G. Poitvin' & an inserted founder's disc of `Contenent Le Livre of France'. A rare and very beautiful accessory mascot. Display base mounted.
