  • The bike has completed little miles since rebuild, starts easily, and runs well with a lovely gearbox and clutch
  • The speedo shows c.7297 but this is a replacement unit however the engine shows little signs of wear with honing marks still visible in the cylinder and old MOTs suggest this is a broadly accurate mileage

  • Cosmetically the bike is in good condition apart from a 5mm ding in the tank (see photo)
  • With many extras and new parts fitted and much work completed

The Royal Enfield Bullet was originally an overhead-valve single-cylinder four-stroke motorcycle made by Royal Enfield in Redditch, Worcestershire, now produced by Royal Enfield (India) at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, a company originally founded by Madras Motors to build Royal Enfield motorcycles under license in India. The Royal Enfield Bullet has the longest unchanged production run of any motorcycle having remained continuously in production since 1948. The model was taken up for manufacture under license in India in the 1970s and continues in production there in much-improved form today.

A bike for the Enfield enthusiast, loaded with performance and styling parts from the Hitchcock's catalogue. Listed below these add up to over £2,700 of styling parts if purchased separately today. Since being rebuilt, the bike has completed 70 miles. It has lots of 'go' compared to a standard Bullet. Extras include; a 5 speed gearbox, 32 Mikuni conversion, large inlet valve & ported inlet tract, Boyer ignition and regulator, alloy top yoke and flyscreen, Goldie style exhaust system, rear-sets, battery platform, and sidecovers, Clubman seat, Ace bars and headlamp brackets. Additional new parts include; tyres, battery, loom, cables, ignition switch and ammeter. The Bullet has benefitted from work which includes having the cylinder head 'vapor blasted', valves re-seated, oil changed and ignition timing checked. A V5C is present on file.
