Lot details Registration No: UXD513G Chassis No: 624630 Mot Expiry: March 2004
Being auctioned here is a ready to special rally Mini with roll cage, plumbed-in fire extinguisher, Cobra bucket seats, sump guard and a 1275GT motor increased to 1380cc capacity by Mini Spares with many high-spec costly bits within including Omega high compression pistons.
Although really looking the part, very much like a full house Rally Mini Cooper S in fact, it has clearly been very well prepped with function, performance and reliability in mind. As a Morris-badged Mini-Minor MkII 1000 in beige with tartan red trim, the saloon left the Longbridge, Birmingham, works in December 1968 and was first sold by dealers Dickinson and Adams of Luton, where it gained the Bedfordshire registration UXD 513G which it carries to this day.
Along with the BMIHT issued Heritage papers, which confirm 1968 manufacture, the history file also includes an RAC MSA Rally Special Stage Vehicle Log Book and a copy of a 'Used Car Road Test' press report which tells readers just how very exciting this fun-filled little package is to drive.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
