Lot details Registration No: FS 7769 Chassis No: 185546 Mot Expiry: None
The present owner of this 1933 Austin 7 type 65, known as the 'Nippy', purchased the vehicle from a large Scottish motor dealership, Taggarts of Motherwell. Although he knew that it had been there for years he was surprised when examining the V5 registration to see that they acquired the vehicle on the 16th December 1933 which would seem to indicate that this rare 'Nippy' has only had two owners from new.
It has been described as being in fair to good condition throughout by the vendor but he assures us that the bodywork, the clocks and the lamps etc are totally original and sound order but we understand that whilst it is in running condition it does require some light restoration.
The car has the full weather gear and a V5 registration document which comfirms the registration number FS 7769.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
