Lot details Registration No: ASJ 368 Chassis No: 8H181449 Mot Expiry: June 2001
This Lincoln Continental was restored approximately thirteen years ago and has been at the Imperial Palace Las Vagas on show for many years. It is fitted with hydraulic windows, full rear spats, white wall tyres, duke box dash and the three speed manual gearbox.
Very few twelve cylinder Continentals were built in 1948 although the two door Coupe's were quite plentiful. This car has alledgedly starred in the film 'Bugsy', about Bugsy Segal the gangster, starring Warren Beatty and it must be the epitome of everbody's idea of the post war American car, being whisper quiet, twelve cylinders and a superb driving vehicle, as Mark can testify.
This car would be a star of any collection and after spending approximately £700 on it it would be a potential concours winner. It has all its period features including its swann neck wing mirrors and we challenge you to find another one in this condition.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
You can collect your new pride and joy from our venue until 1pm the day following the sale or our partners are on hand to help arrange safe transportation:
