A Le Mans '24 Heures/BP' double-sided enamel sign, manufactured in April 1955 by Art France, Luynes, Touraine for display at that year's endurance race, with rounded corners, one side in green on white enamel "24 Heures" and bearing marshal post number '34' and further numbered '6', the other side decorated with 'BP' logo in yellow and black on green enamel (the main race sponsor), with three holes drilled for post-mounting, some enamel loss/wear. 66 x 45cm. An important piece of Le Mans ephemera, from perhaps the most famous and disasterous year of all time.
